Policies and Procedures for Pick-up and Drop-off Catering Menus

The following guidelines are designed to assist University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio faculty and staff with internal catering and food service needs.

Policies and Procedures

We are pleased to provide a wide range of food and beverage options. All catering menu orders must be placed 48 hours prior to your event to ensure we have the necessary items needed. Cut off times does not include weekends. If you are unable to give us 48 hour notice, please call 210-567-0766. Please do not place orders for blocked dates without prior consent from Aladdin Food management. Your order will not be fulfilled. Some food items may be substituted due to availability.

Cancellations

We kindly ask for a 48 hour notice of cancellation. Any cancellation must be confirmed by a member of our staff. A cancellation with less than a 24 hour notice will be charged 100% of the food total.

Pick-up and Delivery

Aladdin Catering will be happy to deliver all necessary items for your event with a $40.00 food and beverage minimum. For orders less than $40.00 we ask University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Staff to pick up the order from the kitchen and return all non-disposable equipment to the Café kitchen. All items will be served on high quality single service dinnerware.

All on-campus delivery orders less than the minimum or unscheduled deliveries will be charged a $25.00 surcharge. 

Orders are available for pick up Monday through Friday at the following times:

When Classes are in Session:

Monday through Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

$75 minimum is required for deliveries off UT Health campus, outside the 7703 Floyd Curl Drive. A delivery fee of $25 will be added to orders that do not meet the minimum.

Any additional staffing that is required will be billed at $25.00/hour per staff based on a four hour minimum.

Evening and weekend caterings are available on a case by case basis. Please call 210-567-0766 or email uthscsa.lancercatering.com to discuss any potential night or weekend catering. Please note any caterings after the hours of 4:00 pm M-F or on the weekend must be approved and is subject to a 19% service charge of the invoice total.

Banquet Catering

We also have full service banquet menus available with everything from a sit-down dinner, buffets or a hors d’oeuvres party.

The Panorama Dining area requires a $200 booking fee plus any additional service fees.

Lost or Service Ware not returned

To try and keep our prices competitive and have enough equipment to service all of our customer at University of Texas Health Science Center, Aladdin will add on charges to your invoice for any missing catering equipment or service ware that is not returned at the end of the event.

Refunds

Refunds will be provided at the discretion of Aladdin. Approved refunds for events paid initially by credit card will be issued as a credit to the credit card used at the time of purchase within five (5) business days after purchase. All refunds for events paid initially by check will be issued a check refund within ten (10) business days after purchase.
